Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Fort Bragg Fighting Fish, you will lead swimming programs and offer personalized lessons to children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and the genuine talent to motivate young swimmers and cultivate a love and respect for water. Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Swim Instructor to join our team and support our Fort Bragg Fighting Fish in Fort Bragg, NC.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
• A love and passion for swimming and children!
